Mar 10th 2007 10:52PM Absolutely...the SL tier fee can be considered an expense for promotion of your RL biz, and that expense is "write-off-able" against your profits, which are taxable.
You owe no taxes if your RL biz (an LLC, to be safe) is a net loss for the year. An LLC is rather easy to set up and protects you personally from any liability.
