'Sexy' a four-letter word for Victoria's Secret chief

BloggingStocks

Feb 29th 2008 11:25AM Victoria's Secret started out nice enuogh but they discriminate against the larger woman and I mean woman because we are the Mom's and larger size females by having our children and grown up enough to know the difference between real love and just lust. Nothing wrong with sex mind you with your husband - I love frilly things and pretty things and always will. It is important to keep ourselves pretty regardless. We are the real women not "girls" and if you want to stay successful you better look around you in real life and see the "real women" who are all sizes - and larger sizes as none of your bra's fit right and I don't need a push up or out we need and want them to fit comfortable and look good. I applied for a job there once and I was a size 14 and they would not hire me but rather the other ladies who were older than me "snubbed" me but I was often told I had a beautiful body on the beach and I can tell you I have not had to worry about men being attracted to me as "a larger woman" and being proud of my body as I was made. There are so many beautiful women who are the larger woman who enjoy what we have! We love men with all kinds of body shapes - that is the beauty of it.

Older cancer survivors keep on working

The Cancer Blog

Jul 16th 2007 12:29PM I agree it is getting better and we all need to move toward that so we can support each other. A few years ago I was "let go" by a company due my cancer although I was only working part time during my Chemo and my ability had not changed. A Law needs to be in effect to protect a working Cancer person. No matter how much I fought to keep my job, they still found a "technical" issue to push me out. It was davastating to me. I lost all my Benefits and no one came forward to even help. I was made fun of by the CEO and Manager's of that company who threw in my face that "his company's insurance went up too much." It is hard for me to now to think forward of going back to work due what I went through. I was sick from how I was treated by these ruthless people. Your words are positive and I appreciate hearing them but as in everything, sorting through all thoes unfeeling out there is hard! What Law protects us while we are ill?
Sincerely, Glenda

Jul 16th 2007 12:16PM Cars are nice but you need to get away from advertising drinking with driving - why are the two always associated out there for advertising? I would not advertise drinking with any car!
