Oct 16th 2007 5:39PM This was absolutely a treat. Their are two things I try to consume mostly and that is natural and fresh foods. All of the easy and prepared foods we get at the store usually contain high amounts of sodium with all the storing and preparing. So many people only have time for these types of meals and that is very sad as they have to eat twice the amount of as I do and that leads to weight gain. As much as possible stick to eating fresh and natural foods.

Weight training by far is the absolute best thing you can do for your metabolism but cardio is as important. To keep healthy and active throughout your life stay active in weight training and great things happen.

Oct 16th 2007 1:13PM Another thing I would like to comment on is yard work and the amount of energy it takes to do it. Some of the best exercise is mowing your lawn, racking and landscaping. I spent about four hours the other day and have had great results with how I feel and satisfaction of a productive day. Try to do more around the house and eating healthy and less will become less of a problem.

Oct 15th 2007 10:53PM This just comes to show you that exercise does not cost that much and people price health and fitness too much when really it is cheap. Start exercising as there is no excuse for getting in shape as you can do it with just a good pair of tennis shoes.

Oct 15th 2007 10:48PM Eating out has been one of my weaknesses but for the past two years I eat salads with no dressings. Eating out with the family has been great with no urges for eating high calorie meals. Try to watch what you are eating as eating out can be the best family time.

Oct 15th 2007 1:42AM I absolutely love going to farmers markets with all the fresh food and things to look at it always makes the day more exciting. Going over seas many people shop like this everyday as the only get the food that day and maybe for tomorrow. Things are a lot better fresh that will keep us fit and healthy.
