Preoperative therapy in patients with esophageal cancer shows survival benefit
The Cancer Blog
Sep 21st 2007 9:28PM My brother-in-law was diagnosed with esophagus cancer a little over a year ago and he was in remission. His cancer has now returned and the doctors have given him a poor prognosis - two months to four years to live. His family is not giving up and they are seeking additional treatments and I started a donation fund for him. If you would like to donate, please click on the link below that will take you to my website. From there, you can donate if you wish through Paypal.

The Cancer Blog
Aug 4th 2007 12:31AM I quit smoking 10 years ago and once I made up my mind to quit, I never smoked another cigarette again. I used Zyban to help me quit. I had a real eye opener that made me want to quit though. My husband had open heart surgery and seeing him hooked up to all of those machines really scared me. It was enough to make me quit.

Survivor Spotlight: Cancer again!
The Cancer Blog
Jul 20th 2007 2:33PM I am really stressing out over this skin cancer scare right now that I'm going through and my dermatologist appointment keeps getting rescheduled because the doctor is out recovering from surgery. I was supposed to go about my suspicious moles and marks on July 10th. It was then rescheduled to July 25th. Now yesterday they called and rescheduled it for August 14th. I have tried calling around but no one else can see me until September! The stress is getting bad.
