Jul 25th 2007 1:40PM While sunscreen is an preventative measure in protecting from sun damage, sun protective clothing should not be overlooked. Since most people do forget to reapply sunscreen or even apply the right amount, wearing clothing with added SPF protection does seem to have its advantages. One website that I found useful for protecting my kids (and myself) was http://www.sungrubbies.com. I found the clothing more useful, since my kids, like most, refuse to sit still long enough to let me apply the sunscreen. Let alone reapply every few hours! I was able to let them play on the beach and they remained burn free.
