Aug 23rd 2007 11:50PM Where the heck did you get your information. Pre- insulin diabetics led horrific lives and looked nearly starved. Also, they used to go to slaughter housed and buy the pancreases from slaughtered animals, grind up and consume. Not effective. I've been living with diabetes since I was six. That was forty three years ago
