Sep 6th 2007 11:36AM There are very few miracles for pancreatic cancer. We lost my mother from the same this past summer (same age as Pavarotti, also) and her brother also succumbed to pancreatic cancer a few years ago.
As far as jaundice, there wasn't any noted with her until near the very end when her liver was shutting down (it had metastized from the pancreas mass).
