Sep 8th 2007 8:07PM I own a real, original Linden-lab issued pewter version. I wouldn't want her to get flooded with requests, so I won't say who gave it to me, but it was a very friendly and sweet Linden Lab employee. Anyway, I was intrigued by the First Bling, until I saw what a rip off they were, when I went to the booth at SLCC. Who would pay $220 for that?? I had the same thoughts about how sad it was that these women who were there selling them were trying to capitalize on this special symbol and I also could tell they were not in-world.
I would have hoped they would have been a little more creative about the pendants too. I was hoping to find one with a little bling in it, for example (rhinestone? Swarovski crystal), but they were very limited in their inventory and overpriced.
As residents, let's try to come up with better SL shwag to wear in RL!
