Experience Project to launch The Cancer Support Project on October 1st
The Cancer Blog
Sep 17th 2007 10:05PM Actually, it doesn't look like a MySpace model at all. It's centered more around personal stories and narratives, with a social aspect layered on top of it. MySpace is just a static souped up version of the proverbial personal webpage (remember the early days of the Internet?)In a way,
The Cancer Support Project is more like the blogs of cancer patients survivors that I've seen out there--bloggers who talk earnestly about treatment and their experiences so far. On a blog though, the conversation is primarily one-way and editorially controlled, as opposed to open, multi-authored and user-generated like this one.
I'm very curious to see the launch of this site when it's done, and if they'll be collaborating with other cancer resources out there.
