A Fishbowl Exhibit Teaches About Women's Issues

Oct 11th 2007 11:14AM I had the pleasure of watching most of "A Fish Bowl View" being created! Strawberry's childlike style gives me as the observer feelings of comfort and happiness, and allows my mind to approach an unpleasant subject matter, such as how uncomfortable many women feel in their own bodies, without feeling too pushy.

Being a fat chick myself, I relate to seeing a woman in a fishbowl at the bottom of the sea with the fish staring in at her, as she weeps to herself. It's a powerful message, delivered in a gentle way.
