Jul 20th 2008 5:15PM These cars are extremly rare. I only have seen 0ne in the wild in my hometown in Holland in 2001. But because of our wet climate nobody wanted one and you can scoop them up for as low as 6000 euro's. Now demand has risen again and prices float from 10K till 16K in Germany.

Jul 13th 2008 10:40AM I really liked Hank and Joe's video's on the conversion.
Now I am also following the conversion of Kearon de Clouet. He is Converting a Ford Capri with Litium Ion battery's. The video's are really funny because he is REALLY not a mechanic! (Like me) See him almost kill himself getting the petrol out of the tank.
Episode 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKCv8JP3Ph4
Episode 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDIjGiZZ6fw (Love this one, with the fuel tank)
Episode 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6SB2nd5SNM
(Also very funny)
I just love people who do their own conversions.

Jul 11th 2008 2:46PM In Holland there is a 65% tax on fuel with inflation correction! Also when the oil prize is rising the tax income thus raises.
The first of July the government added 3 eurocent extra and July 1 2009 1 more cent is added on Diesel fuel.
Gas is left alone for now. And CNG is getting 1,5 cent more tax on 7/1/2009 and 7/1/2010 1 more cent.
Also in 1991 they added 0.11 eurocent tax to close the budget deficit but never gave it back.
I really want out and go electric.
