May 15th 2006 12:59PM The official name of the festival is the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. New Orleans has a rich musical heritage that goes beyond Jazz. I happened to attend the Springsteen performance, and his horn section, which carried most of the solos, played very much in the New Orleans tradition. It was a performance for the ages.
