* 'leet' lettering to prevent font comparison.
* unclear jewel-button pushing that could easily disguise another button being pushed
* Menu items don't match those shown in any of the E3 press briefing
* This could very easily be faked in an XNA application.

As a final point, I'd say that the xbox is black with a white faceplace. This messes up the aesthetics of the thing, and besides, if you were showing off your xbox, you want it to look good, right?

Basically, don't believe it until you see it booting up from off.

Jun 14th 2007 6:14AM LL need to look at XBox Live. The first and second issues highlighted are less of a problem because XBoxdoes things properly. That is to say, they only display the name of people who are causing sound to be rendered on your computer, and they properly squelch background noise.

The third issue is not one you can avoid. Sure, you can give the Teens their own grid... but it doesn't stop adults from being childish.

Cross-Talk should stop soon after the first 2 issues are resolved...

The fifth issue is the same as the second, which leaves us with the sixth, which is really a personal preference thing...

Dec 15th 2006 3:43AM After some very half-arsed checks based on a memory of my Nintendo Wi-Fi adapter having the words "Powered by Buffalo" on it, it would appear that the adapter in the video works because it is based on a proprietary chipset made and resold by Buffalo.

So, my advice is to look for products based on the Buffalo chipset. You might find some even cheaper than the one already discovered.

I meant to mention that when they first hinted at the release. Looks like the demo may have been 'complete' a few months ago, too... why do they delay this stuff?
