Feb 25th 2008 10:16AM I don't get it -- they DID offer a full version as I understand it, just not the very latest (actually it was, but not for long).
This is common -- PC mags often give away slightly older versions of major software for free, so a heavily discounted version is nothing surprising and still seems fair to me.

Sounds good to me. Would depend on the price though.

Dec 22nd 2007 7:08AM Texting while driving is stupid and shouldn't happen... but what about similar activities, such as map reading? Even glancing at a GPS can be similarly dangerous -- where is the line drawn?

Dec 18th 2007 2:51PM Actually, this is bad for sharing with Windows users because of the .DS_Store files and resource forks that they'll be exposed to.
I prefer to just use CleanArchiver, though there are a number of other alternatives (many free).
