Aug 20th 2006 1:46AM What NASA is to space exploration, NOAA is to ocean and weather exploration. And just like NASA, NOAA has a long history of using new media to get its message out. Podcast, blogs, webcasts and now Second Life. The exhibits on display in the NOAA sim are part of a competition to see who will design the entire island. Enjoy them now, but it looks like there is a lot more to come!
