Pink boxing gloves strike again
The Cancer Blog
Nov 29th 2006 8:07AM I found a way to use pink & red boxing gloves to help those "fighting" this awful disease while donating a portion of each glove sold to the American Cancer Society for research. You should check out my website and see. Jacki had recently posted a comment on it and you have it now on your pink products. If you have never been in the fight or not been around someone on a daily basis that is in the fight, I don't think you can really appreciate the message that we are trying to send with the boxing gloves. We are trying to let people know that we are "in their corner" with them, cheering them on to "fight hard"!! Our motto has become "Life IS worth fighting for, FIGHT HARD!!!"

Sep 4th 2006 8:29PM Amy sounds so much like my mother. She was such a fighter. She taught us so much during her "fight" with cancer. Unfortunately she lost her battle but she NEVER gave up the fight. My sister and I have since started a company to help inspire and encourage those who are in a daily battle. It was actually our mother's idea. I took her a pair of boxing gloves when she started her chemo treatments. She had liposarcoma (soft tissue). I took her a pair of boxing gloves with hand-written messages on the gloves from her family and friends. She loved them and wanted others to be encouraged that were going through the same type of battle. My Knockout boxing gloves are available in red or pink. Amy sounds like she is a "fighter" just like my mother. You are right, attitude makes all the difference in the world and that's why we are working to get gloves out to everyone that needs encouragement. Visit us at myknockout.com. It's truly amazing how people like my mom and Amy can make us realize that "Life is worth FIGHTING for so Fight Hard!"
