Oct 6th 2006 10:32AM Wouldn't it be possible to still create such things as a trebuchet, if you used a physical axle resting in a physical stand.
You should still be able to make physical-type joints, you just can't join the subcomponents together into a single joined object. So you'd have to work at a more realistic or mechanical engineering level.
