Oct 4th 2006 9:58AM I have to say I was really pleased to see this article on Jeff Hichcock. And might I add it was done very well. Our daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 10 months ago. We couldn't get enough information about how to care for her and help her through the rough transition initially. I remember typing in "SEARCH- Children with Diabetes" out of pure frustration. That single action opened up a whole new world for our family ! Jeff and his staff have offered priceless information and support to thousands if not more! His committment to this community is overwhelming and our debt to him, well what can I say! He gave our daughter a new way of life, the empowerment to be a kid and opened doors for her that no one else even attempted. I would recommend this site to anyone who has or loves anyone with diabetes. You won't be sorry !
