Dancing With The Stars: Week 9
TV Squad
May 16th 2007 7:11AM JOEY & KYM ALL THE WAY !!!!! I also adore Apollo & Julianne but Joey came on strong from the first episode, full of heart !
He took the weight teasing ( Fat One ) abuse good naturedly and has not only stepped up the pace of competition but from what I can see in those outfits, WOW he's lost a lot of weight and got himself back in shape over the weeks of competition ! All while putting on stellar performances week after week.
So what if he was in NSYNC ? There's a big difference between singing with a bunch of your buddys in a Boy Band and taking center stage with a dancing professional and keeping up with her !
Kym is stunning. They are just the perfect match. I wouldn't be surprised if a lifelong friendship develops between these two because the charisma is obvious between them.
I think the finals should be Joey & Apollo !

Jan 26th 2007 11:10AM Hi ! I'm with Wendy & Genny. I've used Pantene for well over a decade and my long blonde hair is the source of constant compliments. I've tried cheaper and more expensive products and always end up back with Pantene.
I have been coloring my hair at home for over 40 years. Sometimes I've made mistakes and had them straightened out by a friend/stylist. (there's very little you can do to your hair that can't be straightened out with a good stylist and a bottle of wine LOL) At very worst it will grow out and you will learn a lesson or two.
The point is that no one knows your hair better than you do. You are the one who knows what feels best to you and if you make a poor choice, don't worry your friends will let you know.
Read the directions, ask a friend for help if you need or want it, but don't be afraid to try it on your own. You might be pleasantly surprised !
Ready for Girl Scout cookie season?

Jan 19th 2007 8:14PM My daughter was a GS for 7 years (as was I) and "Cookie Time" was always fun for me LOL. We enjoyed the fun of selling and sorting cases of cookies in the living room. The whole family got involved with sorting and filling orders and then my daughter would write a Thank You note for each person that bought from her which we would tuck in with the order before we tied the boxes together with green ribbon, Most of her customers were so impressed that they would hunt me down to order the following season.
She was top cookie seller in her troop for several years which was fun for her, but I think we mainly had fun just doing the project together as a family. =)

Nov 29th 2006 11:12AM This is outrageous! The dixcrimination against smokers has gone way too far !! All of the smokers I know are polite, friendly, caring people who raise their children to be the same. Do diabetics, overweight people, nearsighted people, tattooed parents, pierced parents, short or tall parents face the same discrimination ? How about nail biters or sports fanatics ? This couple looks like they could give a lot of love to a child and it hardly seems fair.

Nov 10th 2006 8:29PM Bravo for these ladies !! My friends and I have done this for years (my oldest is 27) and none of my friends are alchoholics.(or any of our kids for that matter) We just hid it in the closet (or the plastic sipees LOL). It has always been a social thing for us on our outings or camping trips. As a matter of fact we never hid it from our kids, just the disaproving stares of other uptight moms. We never got drunk or acted strange or drove under the influence, we just enjoyed adult activities with other adults as we still do now that our kids are grown up. This group of friends has been with me through engagements, showers, birthdays, pregnancies, deaths, divorces, empty nesting and all of lifes important moments. And we are still together as friends, supporting one another in all of lifes moments. I'm sure we would have done this with or without the mom-tinis but it sure has been nice to have a group of friends that shared every aspect of my life with me. BRAVO to these ladies for being honest enough to not feel the pressure to hide normal adult behavior from their kids or anyone else. We should all be so honest.

Oct 9th 2006 7:11AM YEAH FOR CAMPBELL'S !!!! I think if every company in the USA donated a portion of sales we could beat this thing. Every donation is a Blessing, no one should criticise the size. Fear of pressure, criticism, and bad press will not encourage other companies to be so generous. WAY 2 GO CAMPBELL's ! and a big YO 2 YOPLAIT 2. Maybe it would be better to issue challenges to other companies that don't donate.
