If he had actually ever bothered to ask a lawyer about this, he'd have known that taking a picture in a place with public access does not violate copyright, although the owners of the space are of course in their rights to ask you to leave. They might "consider" it copyright infringement - but it's no more copyright infringement than snapping a picture of the Empire State Building is.

Dec 10th 2006 8:00AM Better yet, there's already a wave of "sexual abusers" of such campers, who will stand close to your avvie while you're away and touch whatever sex add ons you have... it's like necrophilia, but for those who're still alive. I love Second Life :)

Oct 23rd 2006 4:13AM The simple answer for events advertising is for Second Life to develop its own in-world media. Just as you don't rely on the government to advertise events, why should you rely on the Lindens to sort the wheat from the chaff in the events list?
