No Support for Intel chips?

Jun 6th 2007 5:51PM The Intel GMA950 also is on many newer Windows laptops, but it is also a shared-memory video processor. Shared-memory video is notorious for not being the greatest at advanced graphics like the newer nVidia or ATI boards that have dedicated video memory.
The other issue with Mac (I have one, BTW) is that there' no processor-specific coding; everything is coded under Core Video with either Quartz or Quartz Extreme.

May 4th 2007 11:23PM This is a good idea for a couple of reasons ... it's an added layer of liability protection on Linden Lab by putting the responsibility upon landowners to flag their content, and it also helps morally sensitive Residents who won't want to be "triggered" by stumbling into an adult establishment in-world. With companies like MySpace and others being hounded to start verifying age, this certainly couldn't be a matter of "if," but "when."

Oct 6th 2006 8:52PM Akey, use the green "Zoom" thingie in the upper left hand corner to make your window fill the screen without going to full-screen mode. Works fine on my 1.83GHz MacBook.

Sep 13th 2006 2:13PM I would guess that most of those 16,000 "new registrations" are for alts because they forgot the security information for their current ones that now have to be reset; so, I'm wouldn't be certain that it actually means a significant increase in overall population.

Aug 3rd 2006 10:25AM There's an application already out there (can't remember the name) that will take the GPX track downloaded from your GPS receiver and use the EXIF timestamps on your pictures to also automatically add the GPS location information to your images.
