Jan 5th 2007 8:28PM I apologized to 89 for booting him, but explained that the Second Life terms of service clearly state that the main grid is for people 18 and over, and I assumed that he didn't meet that criterion.

Nov 11th 2006 12:07PM We just got a 20" iMac primarily for SL - for some reason I trust the ATI graphics more than the NVIDIA after reading a number of reports on the SL forums. ATI-based Macs seemed to have no problem, and the several reports of graphics problems were on NVIDIA-based Macs. The 20s come with ATI and the 24s come with NVIDIA.

SL runs beautifully.

So a week ago, I upgraded my laptop to the new 15" MacBook Pro with core 2 duo cpu and ATI graphics. I just walked into the Apple store and walked out with the standard issue configuration. I've probably been responsible for selling at least a half dozen MacBook Pros in just the past week after showing off SL, especially when projecting on a big screen!
