Apr 6th 2008 11:23AM Given that yesterday's outage was a result of service provdier failures beyond the control of Linden Lab, and that multiple corporations/entities experienced the failure, should it really be added into the grid stability index? If the goal of the index is to gauge the stability of the SL application, lumping this failure in with home grown ones would seem to be problematic.

Feb 11th 2007 10:20PM Tracking these kind of things over the last few months, the load at which the failures are occurring is steadily increasing. But most users don't seem to notice this. I remember seeing these failures at 15,000 concurrent users. Than around 20,000. Now it kicks in as we approach 30,000.
Most may not want to acknowledge this, but that is progress.

No it's not. Everyone says this. But no one ever means it. I guarantee you that it's not "getting too much." You're not even close to quitting.

Jan 1st 2007 11:44PM This would appease the SL masses, AND give the Lindens incentive to repair the problems, or prevent them from occuring in the first place.
Did you even understand what caused the outage in the first place? This wasn't a LL problem.
