Buy Anshe's stuff for L$10

Second Life Insider

Sep 13th 2007 5:05PM Well personally I think she is on to something here, a lot of the problem I have always had with Second Life is the fact that anything really of good quality always costs an arm and a leg, maybe even your first born as well. Sure I realize that it took the creator time and effort to make the item and they want to make a profit for their efforts, but I know enough about marketing that sometimes selling for less, ends up making you more in the long run, because more people will spread the word about you if your items are priced right.

Just Askin' - Three things that RL business should do

Second Life Insider

Aug 10th 2007 9:24AM I did a podcast episode about this once...

I think that they are all missing the point... sure its all about branding to them, but why come into SL if you are just going to build a place to collect virtual dust.

If I spent that kind of money putting my island together you can take it to the bank that I would do events/parties 24/7 exposing everyone to my brand.

As that is the problem with half these cooperate islands is there is no reason for people to remain there or come back... sure playboy has a store, but I looked at it the other day...big whoop it wasn't anything to write home about....certainly won't make me go back.

Linden Lab taking action against landbots?

Second Life Insider

May 18th 2007 8:16AM Yes it does, I was searching for land a week or two ago and because I hit the search button too fast it said my search was denied for searching to fast...I had to actually log out and log back in to be able to search again.

Bragg vs Linden Lab - Third filing - You can't have Philip!

Second Life Insider

Jan 12th 2007 12:18PM Ok I haven't the slightest clue as to why people are on this guys side...and why everyone is always against Linden Lab.

Lets revisit this again:
>> Marc Bragg, you may know, found a way to fool the system into letting him bid on property that was not available for auction in the usual way. With nobody to bid against him, he scored quite some amount of land for very little money, and then resold it. His account was banned and his Second Life assets dissolved, as Linden Lab considered this a violation of the Terms of Service -- an exploit.

Now why does he deserve to win? How did Linden Lab mis-represent themselves here?

Ok lets all go out and rob a bank and then sue the cops when they come and arrest us and take the money back.

How did Linden Lab mis-represent themselves here? This guy found a flaw in their system and because of this he gained assets ...Linden corrected this by taking back what this guy unlawfully took ... surely they didn't have to ban his account and surely it could have been handled in a more business like manor.

But if you come down to it, this guy is the one who commited the crime here not Linden Lab... Like I said any lawyer with half a brain would see this.... not to mention the jurry will laugh at this.

We will all just have to wait and see...but my vote is with Linden Lab on this one.

Jan 11th 2007 3:58PM Petey..common man...you know as well as any real lawyer knows with half a brain in their noggin that this case is just nuts.. He doesn't have a prayer ...this case is a joke and I think he is only doing it for the hope of some media attention
