Jun 11th 2007 3:10PM His logic on "how would we feel if China came into our country and started telling us how to run our country" is true. Too bad logic and reality aren't the same anymore. Reality tells us we are already in this mess so we have to do something to fix it. I am not a Ron Paul fan and I won't vote for him but some of his opinions I feel are valid and I know I am tired of the status quo. I'm just not willing to go as far as support him for the Presidency.

Mar 27th 2007 9:22PM Check out the current top contenders for the Republican Party's 2008 Nomination for the Presidential Race. According to the latest polls some who have announced they are running and some who have not are being considered favorites. Most of the time one will see Giuliani, Romney, McCain & Gingrich, not necessarily in that order, ranked as the top four candidates.
One name I don't see at the top is the only conservative candidate who has dared to take an outspoken and active role against illegal immigration and its horrendous effects on our country. Tom Tancredo.
If he does decide to run, I believe he will be the first target of a "conservative candidate cannibalism". Of the other candidates, which ones will do more than talk about illegal immigrants and the asinine rules which allow them benefits that some U.S. citizens don't even have? Most of them are afraid of what it will do to our economy and how it would affect businesses (their donors) who benefit from employing immigrants, legal and illegal. They are letting sleeping dogs lie - but many Americans feel its time to wake those old doggies, give them a thorough exam and prescribe a course of treatment to get them up and going so we don't have to step over them anymore.
Does the Republican Party really want one of their own to open this can of worms for them and how hard will they try to keep Tancredo out of the forefront?

Jan 19th 2006 8:24PM They killed the show right before we got to see the episode with Larry Taylor, also known as the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld. I was so disappointed for him. Let's hope someone picks it up soon! He is playing in an episode with a bunch of Sadam Hussein look-a-likes. Watch for him!

Jan 19th 2006 8:08PM When I was much younger, there was a group of us girls that had a Miss America party every year. Whoever won the year before had to host the party and feed us dinner before the pageant. We all put 5 dollars in a hat and drew a number. We became that contestant in the order they are called as finalists. We had a few glasses of wine, acted out the talent competitions and laughed so hard our sides ached. Then the winner was crowned, a banner placed on her shoulder, she was given a Mercedes (Hot Wheels miniature) a mink, (a little piece of fur with a safety pin) and all the money in the hat. She reigned for a year and had to have the party at her house the next year and crown the winner!
