Intellectual property: If it's not nailed down ...

Nov 10th 2007 9:07PM If you own an ebay account you can report his items. I strongly suggest every ebay member report them as copyright infringements. You can only report 10 of them at a time unfortunately. So you have to do two reports. Use the 'report this item' at the bottom of one of the listings and copy all of the item numbers. I have reported all of his listings.

Mar 22nd 2007 7:00PM I own an ancient Roman themed sim called ROMA. It is not a reconstruction of any specific part of the ancient world, and no build in it is a 1:1 reconstruction of any ancient Roman building. Instead, I decided to create unique architecture based on canonical Roman architectural forms while allowing for a great deal of reinterpretation. This has created a hybrid build that is at once instantly recognizable as ancient Roman, but also hopefully fresh and absorbing. We have a large population of roleplayers and people interested in discovering the history and culture of ancient Rome.
One of the most important aspects of ROMA is the fact that virtually every building and structure in the sim sports a bright red ‘info button’. A visitor can touch this button and receive historical information about ancient Roman culture pertaining to the build (such as gladiatorial combat info at the Arena) and details about the original Roman structure it was based on. We also have interactive museum exhibits in the sim as well that present various aspects of Roman culture (the current exhibit is on Roman views of sexuality).
Here is a slurl for the sim: http://slurl.com/secondlife/ROMA/214/25/22/
Thanks!

Jan 2nd 2007 7:18AM The Q&A session at the last technical town meeting revealed that huge prims would be allowed on private estates (islands). Or at least that was the policy a few weeks ago.

Dec 22nd 2006 3:20PM Two things from the town hall i'm seeing get no real coverage, but seem pretty big, both from the Q&A: Camping chairs' days are numbered (although I thought they had done away with dwell long ago) and huge prims allowed on private estates.

Dec 20th 2006 1:36AM There are also many secular charities out there also working to combat poverty and provide relief efforts. The SL Humanism group is currently doing a secular charity holiday drive for Oxfam International (see the Humanism Garden in the ROMA sim) and I know Elf Circle is also doing a charity drive for three charities voted on by their members, including Amnesty International. There are always many opportunities to give during the holiday season. I hope everyone can find the time to give to whatever charity fits their world view and help make a difference to people in need.

Dec 7th 2006 5:12PM Caliandris Pendragon's builds inspire me all the time, and taught me many things about prim scripting in SL. She makes amazingly beautiful objects and buildings.

Dec 1st 2006 8:50PM So SL was not fixed by 5pm Friday, and now all of LL is free to go off for restful weekends??? We're about to be flooded again for another weekend of crashes and unplayable periods and the impossibility of finding anything via search and..... they all go home, wipe their hands and close the helpline. At least that is the gist of the linden blog announcement about search.
