Spy Shots: BMW 3-Series facelift

Autoblog

May 31st 2008 4:10PM Agreed; that is a beautiful example of the best of the series.

All this "give Bangle the credit 'cause BMW is doing well" tripe completely ignores the fact that many of us drive what he has styled, in spite of what he has wrought, not because of it. (Look at the current Camry as an example of the same thing; you think it finds so many buyers because of its looks? Hello?) I love my 330i, and have the highest regard for the engineers who created it; I despise the fussy, immature styling details of which Bangle is so enamored, which do nothing for this fantastic sport sedan. I will not deny myself the pleasure this car is to drive, because of something as ultimately inconsequential as its skin (and am thankful my wife applied similar logic in selecting me) but cannot wait to see the situation rectified, so that I can enjoying looking at my car as much as I enjoy driving it.

Dec 10th 2007 1:17PM How did you get SafariBlock (the best, BTW) to work in Leopard? I've had no luck on any of my 3 Macs, and assumed it was due to the demise of InputManagers...?

So, the king is dead -- long live the king! Allie, tell us about the new king; *you* know you have a very loyal core audience, who all want to see you continue and succeed. And *we* know this is but a minor blip in your path; just lead, we'll follow!

Once upon a time, all diabetes was treated without insulin

The Diabetes Blog

Aug 25th 2007 9:05PM Wow, lottadata, well summarized; and all true. It is so important to remember in this context that it is large amounts of insulin that cause fats in the blood to precipitate and adhere to artery walls. Worried about arterial sclerosis? Reduce your need for insulin, i.e., eat less carbs. So simple and proven a scientific fact, but so counterintuitive to a poor brainwashed public.
