Oct 24th 2007 12:01PM It does not work any better than the usual client, i dont think any client will cos the underlaying structure of SL is crap.
I did like all the lil neat things in the viewer, but also agree that the UI is far to bright, although i think it looks nicer than what LL has proposed for their viewer UI upgrade. Why dont we yet have a choice to colour our UI ourselves!?

Oct 18th 2007 9:03AM Bullying is an odd thing. I see it occuring within the child AV community and i would not lump it with griefing, i think its a seperate issue. As a designated leader within the Second Life Children group im often IM'd by people who are frustrated by other Kid Av's who offend them, push them around and even spread lies.
Griefing is someone who does not know you and makes it their goal to ruin your day as well as those around you. The Bullying i see are people who know each other , know their place in the community and have a real hatred for who they bully. Sometimes its from disputes in opinions about each other.
We recently had a few cases of Kid Avs reporting each other for allegedly being underage which caused Linden lab to suspend accounts untill proof of age was provided.
Community bullying is something we should take as serious as it should in real world, regardless of the age of those behind the avatar. Because those who settle into a community in SL become very attached to their virtual presence and the stress that can come from inworld bullying hurts just as much as RW.

Oct 16th 2007 7:30AM There are lots of period RP sims, rather than simply being an RP world, they tend to be places where you can go and experience and all together different world than the usual ideals of modern society.
My fave period sim is New Babbage a most agreeable place full of very polite and insperational peoples :)
