Megaprims on the loose again

Massively

May 11th 2008 1:25AM Thanks Stephen, that works a treat! I now have a shiny new 60x60x20 sphere which will make a perfect 1 prim saucer for a starship.

Woot!

What other sizes should I make before the hole gets closed.

May 10th 2008 7:13AM Research suggests it was available from LSL (a four line script is the rumour), but unfortunately llSetPrimitiveParams([PRIM_SIZE, ]); creates a 10x10x10.

Patching the XML allows you to size them out to an size you like, people also see the huge prims, but as soon as you close the edit dialog or attempt to change from cube to another shape they collapse.

Right now I am looking at various overflows on llSetPrimativeParams, it may be there based on the rumour of it being script based.

Ummm NO, we haven't.

This will, especially as it will be (according to the SLDev list) automatic deletion. Now all those groups that hate Kid avatars can band together and have adverts, events and parcels automatically deleted.

This goes another step up the griefing tree over Underage ARs as an abuse tool.

Apr 30th 2008 5:20AM Hmm, I deleted all mine about a month ago, 18 months of collecting them. My inventory was significantly lighter afterwards.

These are one thing, along with landmarks, that need an overhaul (and yes I know that letter on SLDev shows that landmarks are being looked at for a revamp)

Apr 29th 2008 5:11AM "Assuming roughly 500 of those are still active users who are still willing to hold on without being able to send or receive IMs, teleport or cross simulator boundaries, or access objects or inventory"

I would be one of them. When those times come around I invariably head down to a peaceful area of my region and lie on a raft watching my dolphins jump.

Either that or meditate.

Apr 27th 2008 5:45PM Twice spammed and twice AR filed with Robin Linden's name. and a note on who it was and why I used Robin's name.

The only way to stop them is to get them IP banned and that needs people to still AR them despite the Register-Spam-Cancel path.

Apr 19th 2008 2:59AM What happens when your avatar gets banned though Tateru?

And why does this site not let me reply to your post?

Linden Lab alters stance: will ban

Apr 18th 2008 10:08PM It is my understanding of the nominative use the labs permits with TOS requires the first occurrence of the product name (You used it as the third and fourth words) have the ® symbol, thereafter you are free to use those two words free of such encumbrances.

The only exception to this is if you include the "The Second Life® World" in your byline and your blog is substantially or in whole dedicated to Second Life®

I believe you are breaking the TOS Tateru, be careful you are not banned!
